If you do not, then you risk getting diarrhea or food poisoning. By heating of foods you can even save the calories your body would consume
to digest unheated (raw) food. In addition you will feel better eating warm food.
Water, the most important element wich we use daily. Water, taken from the tap, has been treated elswhere.
